A Great American Tapestry: The Many Strands of Mountain Music

WORLD PREMIERE

June 22, 2017, 7:00PM  – Thomas Auditorium, Blue Ridge Community College

The World Premiere of our latest film on the rich cultural history of mountain music including the ballad singers from Scotland and Ulster, the African-American string band players, and Cherokee musicians and dancers. A discussion with the filmmaker and principal film participants follows the film screening. Music starts the evening off in Flat Rock.
